The quote stands out a lot because it pretty much describes what probably a lot of women were doing at this period of time which was just please their husbands in anyway that they could. This quote also says a lot about the character of Emilia. It seems like she just wants to make her husband happy in anyway possible that she can so he can treat her right and have respect for her. Also it pretty much says that she would do anything for him even if she got in trouble. Like stealing the handkerchief of Desdemona which she works for because Iago asked her to. She also lied to Desdemona telling her that she had not seen her handkerchief when she did. Thats what she has done so far, im pretty sure she will probably do more things for Iago in the rest of the book.
