A. 1. Why all of sudden is the emotion of love able to be felt by people? Does Winston feel the same way?
2. If Winston isn't afraid of dying, Why does he try to hide or Why don't he try his hardest to recruit even more people who believe in the Brotherhood?
B. 1. When you find that one who you think is really meant for you and the chemistry between one another gets better than love gets deeper and deeper. We as people have an emotional sense in our body, so we know when we feel real love or not. Well i think winston doesn't really love Julia, but he has feelings for her.
2. Maybe Winston was hiding because he don't want to get caught by the Thought Police. It will be hard to recruit others to the Brotherhood because Big Brother would know and he will try to stop Winston every move.
C. Does the Brotherhood exist or not? In class today we had many opinions about that question. Some say it don't and some say it does. Well my opinion is i think the Brotherhood does exist. Why? Winston and others have memories from the past. There are people who exist, but their not out there like Winston. If it wasn't no Brotherhood then winston wouldn't be able to know everything he knows and he would not fall in love with Julia. I believe that O'Brien was part of the Brotherhood. Thats why he been watching winston.
