p.1134

Q: Why is Gregor not concerned about turning into a bug and instead is worrying about insinificant things like getting to work on time?
A:I think he is not concerned because he truly beileves he will change back. He is also more concerned about his parents. I think back in this time the commandment from the bible "honor thy mother and father" meant a lot. I think thats what he is trying to do. Even though they have money. He just wants to make them proud. He cares about his sister too. Gregor and his sister have a very strong bond and he wants her to go to college and have a great like. He thinks if he makes money he can make that life for me. indisposition: unwillingness

Q: How far of a transformation will he go through in becoming a bug?
A: I think Gregor will go as for as he needs to. I think the reason he is a bug because he feels that way. I think when he makes a move and trys instead of just sitting there he will figure things out. Its all about the symbols in the book. the bug he is represents the life he's lived. He's stuck. presentiment: the sense that something was about to occur.

Exisentialism: Trying to change.
I don't think you can ever change your whole self. You can change aspects of yourself but completely changing is impossible. I do think somethings need to change. Gregor its to change the way he thinks. He is a big because he was stuck in a life that wasn't really up to his standards and now he is literally stuck in his room. Its going to be hard for him to change. Its hard to change when you've been stuck in the same rut for so long. I don't think he will change if he does not make an effort.
