" Act 2, Scene 3, Roderigo"
- " I do follow here in the chase, not like a hound that hunts, bu one that fills up the cry." (pg. 105)
- Roderigo is spending all his money buying Desdemona gifts and things, basically trying to buy her out because he thinks that after all these gifts, she would hook up with him. Instead Desdemona denies him.
- The quote i chose is connected to the theme "love." When you are interested in a certain someone, you will do whatever it takes to get that certain someone. Even if it takes buying gifts like Roderigo. I believe Roderigo did the right thing by giving up and going back to Venice. If you think about it, most females love gifts and if the gifts come from a guy they will accept them, and most likely give that guy a chance in a relationship. I guess Desdemona isn't one of them, but if you're married than you shouldn't be.
- wit: good sense
- Why would Roderigo let Iago talk him into going after a married women? Instead of being without no money and going back to Venice, Should Roderigo stay on the Island of Cyprus?
