Act2, Scene3, Iago

"I had rather have this tongue cut from my mouth, than it shoul ddo offense to Micheal Cassio. Yet I pursuade myself to speak the truth shall nothing wrong him." pg 97

It shows how Iago is basically putting Cassio on the spot after getting him drunk, he is thinking he can control the situation and make things go his way, he is trying to cover up hius own lie. Iago lied because he has already talked bad about cassio.

Its connected in the way of how everyone is out to get everyone and how each character is jealous of everyone. they want what someone else has and they can just be happy with what they got. Iago is the bad guy out to get everyone.

Strange indignity- Unusual insult

-why hasn't anyone caught on to what Iago is doing?

-why was cassio chasing roderigo in the first place?
