act 3, scene 4, Bianca

"O, Cassio, whence came this? This is some token from a newer friend. To the felt absence now I feel a cause," (Bianca, p.165)

Cassio was away from home for awhile and when Bianca sees the handkerchief she automatically thinks it is from a mistress. Out of jealousy she gets upset. If Iago had talked to her it would explain why she is so quick to think he cheated but if not than she just has a trust issue. When Bianca says 'to the felt absence now I feel a cause' it means she know now why he has been away for so long, he has a new lover.

Why is Bianca so quick to accuse Cassio of cheating?

What does Cassio plan on doing with the original handkerchief?
