They have the ideas of a vampire to be this sexy looking human being but in the end it is a beast beyond this nature or of some kind of nature. Most of the vampires get there new and young look by drinking younger blood. "we thought her dying whilst she slept, and sleeping when she died" Basically this means the vampires sleep they look dead and when they awake the look younger new and refress in so many ways.
